I love lunch!

We went to the Fye's house to play. Well, actually, to battle.
This is our awesome fort. We defended it against all girls.

Quincy is the center of attention, the main attraction. We love Quincy!

Watch where you step, because Quincy is probably underfoot! He is investigating every nook and cranny, pulling himself up on things, crumpling newspapers, and putting things in his mouth. He is so cute I can hardly stand it! He loves to hug, but his favorite thing is open-mouth kissing. He is smiley and talkative, and a delight to have around! Everybody loves Quincy!

A Thanksgiving Extravaganza

Today Cooper and Garrett starred in their Thanksgiving play at school. They were GREAT! They knew all the songs, and they had that star quality that all the Pratts have.
Garrett was one of the turkeys who went on strike, so Thanksgiving was going to be cancelled. Here Cooper wouldn't stay still for the picture, so Garret is man-handling him. Garrett was the star of the turkeys. He had a special part where he ran on stage and stole a football from a big kid.

Cooper was a squash. The squashes apparently want more glory when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner. Cooper was the cute chunky little squash with the big head.

The whole school was involved, and it was a great production.

Everyone did such a good job, and the kids were adorable!

Quincy is Crawling!

Oh boy things are changeing!!! Quincy went on vacation for a couple of weeks, and when he came back, WOW! He has changed so much! Gone are the days of just sitting there, chilling. Gone are the days of silent reflection.

Quincy is a little man who is on the go, who knows what he wants! His little personality is emerging, and he is going to give his brothers a run for their money. He gets so mad when I put him in his carseat! He gets so mad if I put him down for a nap (this lasts for 2 minutes, then he falls dead asleep). If he sees something that he wants to pick up, he will concentrate so hard and work till he gets it (i.e. papers, toys, dust balls). He loves our dog, and he will follow the dog around trying to get it.

The thing I love about Quincy is how he hugs you when you pick him up. He dives into you and grabs with both arms. It is the cutest thing.

Fall is Here

The weather has gotten colder, and Quincy is dressing appropriately. How cute is he? Love the hat!

This jumpy saucer is Quincy's favorite thing, and, I believe, the best invention ever. Quincy loves it! He jumps and swings and plays in it.

Feeding Quincy is like feeding a bobble-head doll on a really bumpy road. His mouth is a moving target.

Cooper and Garrett will climb anything--trees, fences, poles, etc. Garrett loves getting his picture taken.

The leaves are falling. Unfortunately, they don't fall in a pile. We did that part.

It makes for a soft landing when jumping off the swing.

Garrett has no fear.

Quincy is getting cuter every day! He is sweet and smiley. He is already getting excited for his first Halloween!

Favorite sport: rolling over.

The Big Trip to the Big Easy by Quincy

My mom and my babysitter took me to New Orleans last week. We had fun.
My mom took me to Bourbon Street. That's my mom--Mother of the Year.

We walked around the French Quarter a lot. It was kind of stinky.

This is at our hotel.

We rode the trolley cars A LOT. I liked it.

This is a famous church. Blah blah blah.

I tried rice cereal because I am hungry a lot and I drink a lot of bottles.

Then I needed a bath.

This metal-looking guy posed by me for a picture.

We went to the famous Cafe du Monde for breakfast every day.

I ordered the beignets.

But I only ate the powdered sugar. That stuff is good!

We had a great trip! But it's good to be home.

Sleepover

Garrett and Cooper had a sleep-over with Henry and Max Fye. There was lots of wrestling, snacks and cartoons. Then they crashed. It was a really fun night!

Quincy Tries to Hold His Head Up

Quincy has to work so hard just to hold his head up! He tries so hard, but he gets so tired. He is so cute, I can hardly stand it!

Here he is starting out strong. He has lots of energy!

Uh oh. I can see the eyes glazing over. He is hitting the wall.

It's those cheeks! They just pull his head forward and weigh him down.

He can only fight gravity for so long...

Lately Quincy has been wearing leisure suits. It's like he is an old man going on a cruise. He is going to be a regular at the buffet.

The other day, I put Quincy on the couch, and I watched as he slowly tipped over. It was clear that Quincy's core muscles are in need of a little toning. So he met with his personal trainer, and they came up with a workout routine...

Sets of 5 minutes in the Bumbo to build core muscle strength.

Sets of 1 push-up and holding up his big head.

Butterfly presses, stomach crunches, and leg lifts.

This is it Quincy. This is when you start to take control of your life, your best life. Do it for Oprah! You can do it! Be the champion I know you are!

A busy day...

This was the last day the boys played at the Fyes (I think I mentioned that they are our best friends.) Here is a sampling of some of our activities.

The kids have been in the pool for hours each day. Cooper changes his clothes about three times a day, and not once has he put on his shorts or underwear facing front. They are ALWAYS backwards (see swimsuit). That's Garrett under water.

The other day it rained like crazy, and the only thing to be done was to play in the muddy water and tackle each other. The kids were dirty from head to toe. But it provided us with a good afternoon of entertainment.

Our best friends, the Fyes, insist we start a blog to keep in better touch with our friends and family. We do, after all, live far away in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! So this is our first entry! Our boys are ADORABLE! Garret is so smart and such a gentleman! He is a great big brother, very responsible. And Cooper is HILARIOUS! His laugh is so cute and he is 100% boy. And Quincy loves his babysitter! He is the best baby in the history of the world: he eats, he smiles, he sleeps, he snuggles.
Here is just a sampling of what we have been up to lately. We love you all and keep in touch!
